In addition to our regular lessons, New Jersey Sailing School also offers opportunities to practice what you were taught. While our rental boats are a good way to practice the basics or just enjoy a day on the water, our ocean adventures are a great way to challenge your sailing.

NJSS offers regular sailing on our 49 foot Hinckley Ketch. We have one day ocean sails, weekend get aways, advanced classes, and one way ocean deliveries.

As the sailing season approaches, we are making plans for our trip from Delaware City DE back to Point Pleasant. The trip starts with a limo trip from Point Pleasant out to Dream's winter storage in Delaare City and some evening festivities at Crabby Dicks.

With an early start, we make our way down to Cape May for our first night dockage. The next leg is up for conditions. If we make good time, we can run up to Manasquan inlet or we make a stop in Atlantic City and then home the next day. The trip is not designed as a fun in the sun trip. We go regardless of the weather (safety first) and run long and hard if needed. It is a great open water experience.
